What is Refugee Week?

Refugee Week is the world’s largest arts & culture festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of people seeking sanctuary. It’s been running in the UK since 1998 and is always the week around World Refugee Day (20 June). 

What is Refugee Week 2023 Theme?

Refugee Week 2023 theme is Compassion. On the 25th anniversary of Refugee Week, we invite you to celebrate what compassion looks like in action. “Compassion is a verb – a doing word.” said Albert Davies-Smith, Digital Campaigns & Engagement Officer at the Welsh Refugee Council. “Refugee Week is a great opportunity to get involved and make refugees feel welcome in Wales.”

When is Refugee Week?

Refugee Week will take place from June 19 – 24, 2023.

How can I get involved with Refugee Week?
