Fancy a Trip to the National Museum?

🗓️ Tuesday 12th September: 11:00 – 2:00

đź“ŤCathays Park, Cardiff, CF10 3NP

Home to five hundred years of magnificent artwork and natural history exhibitions; the National Museum of Wales is completely free and belongs to everybody. On Tuesday 12th September, our ESOL class is taking part in a special ESOL Trip-Out welcome to all refugees and asylum-seekers in Wales.

As part of the day’s activities, we plan to get hands-on with hundreds of museum objects in the Clore Discovery Centre and discover paintings, sculptures, and photography in the art galleries.

Museums and galleries are full of fantastic words and phrases and are a great place to learn English. They are also an excellent opportunity to learn more about Welsh history, art and culture. Amgueddfa Cymru are hosting a range of activities and events all across Wales for Adult Learners’ Week. Details here.

Find out more information on how to arrive at the museum by car, bus or train – remember that Refugees in Wales can travel for free on public transport via the Welcome Ticket!
