Volunteering Lead and Development Officer

Volunteering is a fundamental element of our service delivery for sanctuary seekers and refugees across Wales, central to our mission and key across our multiple sites.

Job Title: Volunteering Lead and Development Officer
Salary: £25,906 per annum pro rata
Duration: Fixed term 18-month contract
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Hybrid working with Cardiff office as the main base
What you’ll do:
- Recruit and support volunteers across our services
- Build volunteer confidence and capacity, celebrating their success and progress
- Manage digital systems and increase volunteer engagement
- Deliver training, mentoring and co-designed volunteer-led services
- Act as the main contact point for volunteer request and queries
