Business Development Officer

We’re looking for the perfect person to help deliver our organisation’s fundraising strategy. You’ll research and develop innovative approaches to generating income, making sure our services can continue their important work. This is an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and build new funding relationships to support integration projects for sanctuary seekers and refugees across Wales.

Salary: £26,000 per annum pro rata

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week

Location: Hybrid working with Cardiff office as the main base. Occasional visits to our offices in Swansea and Newport. Wider Wales travel may be required and agreed in advance.

What will you do?

  • Act as first point of contact for all fundraising-related enquiries
  • Devise and manage fundraising campaigns
  • Write clear, compelling bids and proposals leading to successful fundraising outcomes
  • Collaborate with project managers to support their projects to meet the needs of the funder
  • Use donor platforms to collate data and keep our records in top condition
