Safe play spaces
“Thank you so much, we come here and it is a place for all of us. They love to come here.”
After being forced to flee their homes and seek safety, many children arrive frightened and unable to communicate their feelings. Our Play Project team create safe and friendly spaces to help children and families have fun.
What happens at Play Project:
- Help children to have fun and become confident individuals
- Support children with trauma and anxiety through play
- Prepare children for learning at school
- Provide a place of community where children can make friends
- Informal English classes for parents while their children are playing
Want to support the Play Project?
We would welcome all support no matter how big or small. Please contact our team to find out how you can be part of something special!
Support Play Project
Looking for a happy and safe place for your little one to play?
All sanctuary seeking children and families are welcome to join in our Play Project sessions in Cardiff.
Each session is a fun and free way to meet new people and play together in a safe and supportive environment. It’s a space where children can truly be children; a place where they are free to play, learn, and grow. For parents, Play Project means sharing in the wonder and joy of those precious early moments by their little one’s side.
We can also cover transport costs to attend the session for those who need it.
