As Chair of the Sanctuary Coalition Cymru, I am deeply committed to amplifying the voices of asylum seekers and refugees and raising awareness about their journeys, challenges, and contributions. I am passionate about championing the incredible work being done by organisations and individuals across Wales to support and empower those seeking safety and belonging. 

Originally from Zimbabwe, I have called Wales my home for the past 21 years. My personal journey has shaped my understanding of the resilience and courage it takes to rebuild a life in a new country. This lived experience fuels my dedication to creating a more welcoming and inclusive Wales. 

With a professional background spanning both the third sector and statutory organisations, I bring a breadth of experience in advocacy, community engagement, and strategic leadership. My work has always been rooted in collaboration and a drive to ensure the most vulnerable in our society are supported and empowered to thrive. 

Outside of my role, I am a proud mother of one and remain deeply invested in fostering a fair and compassionate society for future generations. 

Through my work with the Sanctuary Coalition, I aim to continue building a platform where refugees and asylum seekers can be heard, celebrated, and supported. Together, we can work toward a Wales that leads the way in solidarity and inclusion.
