How can I access support in my area?

The journey toward widening dispersal in Wales began as part of a national effort to offer sanctuary seekers a fair chance to rebuild their lives.

In response to a growing need, the UK Home Office expanded its dispersal strategy in Wales to ensure that all regions could share in supporting those in need of refuge.

This change aims to ease the pressure on certain regions, while also enriching communities across Wales with diverse cultures, experiences, and talents. Today, we’re proud to say that the Welsh Refugee Council now works hand-in-hand with 22 local authorities to support this important mission.
