Take a step toward a more welcoming Wales

We believe Wales is a nation of welcome. But the people who come here seeking safety often arrive with nothing, and the road to rebuilding a life is long. Every step you take helps make that journey a little easier.

Here’s how it works

1. Pick a date and route

Walk as far as you like, wherever you like, whenever you like.

2. Invite your fellow walkers

Walk with friends, family, colleagues, or even just your dog.

3. Start your walk and get fundraising

Sign up here and start a fundraising page. Then get out in the lush Welsh landscape and have fun!

How your walk helps

We’re fighting for a future where people have the resources they need to thrive from the moment they arrive in Wales.

For someone rebuilding their life in a new country, the right support at the right moment changes everything: understanding their rights, finding their feet, knowing where to turn for help. People seeking safety are our future colleagues, friends and neighbours. The people who will shape our communities.

Last year, we helped nearly 5,000 people who came to us for support. We provided essential advice and guidance, hosted free language classes, and gave children safe places to play. Our work continues, and so does our need for support.

Every step you take helps us be there when it matters most.
