Swim for Team WRC

Sea, lake or your local pool: every length you swim helps people seeking safety find a place to belong in Wales.

Take on an open water event, or set your own challenge and swim it at your own pace.

How it works

1. Pick your swim

Sign up for an event, plan a sea swim with friends, or take on a pool challenge. Swim a mile a day for a month: that’s about 64 lengths of a 25m pool each day. Pick a target – spread it across a timeline that suits you!

2. Set up your page

Create a JustGiving page, set a target and share it with friends, family and colleagues.

Start fundraising

3. Tell us about it

Email fundraising@wrc.wales and we’ll send you a Team WRC welcome, cheer you on across our socials and be there if you need a hand.

Why your swim matters

Last year, nearly 5,000 people came to us for expert advice, language classes and a safe place for their children to play. The money you raise helps us be there for the next person who arrives.

Questions? Email fundraising@wrc.wales and we’ll be happy to help.
