Give in memory

When someone we love dies, we look for ways to keep what mattered to them alive. For many families, that means giving in their name.

A gift in memory to Welsh Refugee Council helps people who have fled war and persecution find safety, welcome and a place to belong in Wales. It’s a lasting way to honour a life — and to pass on the kindness they showed others.

There are a few ways to give. Choose whatever feels right for you.

What your gift does

People arrive in Wales having lost almost everything — home, family, the life they knew. Gifts in memory help them start again. Last year, we supported 5,000 people in need across Wales.

Safety

Expert advice and casework so people can navigate the asylum system, find security, and understand their rights.

Welcome

A friendly face, English classes and help settling into a new community.

Belonging

Support into work and education, and safe spaces for children to play and families to connect.

We’re here to help

If you’d like to talk about giving in memory, or need help with a collection, Ana and Kay are happy to help.

We’ll take care of the details, at whatever pace suits you.
