Cycle for Team WRC

Road, trail or commute: every mile you ride helps people seeking safety find a place to belong in Wales.

Last year, nearly 5,000 people came to us for advice, language classes and safe places for their children to play. Sign up for an organised ride, or set your own challenge and pedal it your way.

How it works

1. Pick your ride

Enter a sportive, ride a stretch of the Wales Coast or set your own distance. Cycle to work for a month, or trek Lôn Las Cymru from Cardiff to Holyhead with friends.

2. Set up your page

Create a JustGiving page, set a target and share it with friends, family and colleagues.

Start fundraising

3. Tell us about it

Email fundraising@wrc.wales and we’ll send you a Team WRC welcome, cheer you on across our socials and be there if you need a hand.

Rides that made a difference

Tour de Galles

A group of riders made the Tour de Galles an annual tradition. In 2017, their fifth year, they passed 1,000 miles in total at the top of the Rhigos and beat their £2,000 target for WRC.

Raised: £2,124 from 67 supporters

Gildas set out to ride 3,333km between May and July 2026, the same distance as the Tour de France. He split his fundraising between three charities, including WRC, “because I want everyone to be welcome in Cymru.”

Raised: £1,246 for three charities, from 44 supporters
