• Pregnant mothers are entitled to apply for a £300 one off maternity grant from the Home Office from 34 weeks pregnant up until 6 weeks post-partum. If you are on Section 4 support, you will receive £250. This is designed to help with extra costs of a new baby. To apply, you will need to get your MATB1 form from your doctor or midwife and send a copy of it to coc@migranthelpuk.org along with your request for the grant.
