Wales has long been home to people from all over the world. Whether it’s the sailors of Butetown, the Jewish children of Gwrych Castle or Ukrainian refugees today; Wales has long been a place of welcome.
We are proud that in 2019 the Welsh Government committed to becoming the world’s first ‘Nation of Sanctuary’. This means rejecting hostile policies and instead embracing the talents of sanctuary-seekers from day one.
Wales still has work to do to become a Nation of Sanctuary, but we are pleased of the progress so far.
On Saturday, Admiral generously gifted our staff and volunteers’ tickets to see Wales V. England in the Six Nations at the Principality Stadium. We wanted to share some of the pictures with you all – they’re just gwych!
