Leave a gift in your will

Every year, people arrive in Wales looking for safety and somewhere to belong. Many come to us first.

After you’ve taken care of the people you love, a gift in your will — big or small — can help us be there for generations to come.

What your gift could help us do

  • Give people seeking safety access to free, expert advice when they first arrive
  • Keep our language classes running, so people can find their feet and their voice
  • Give children seeking safety a place to play, learn and grow

Gifts in wills let us plan ahead, so support is there the moment someone needs it.

How to leave a gift

Leaving a gift is simpler than you might think. When you make or update your will, tell your solicitor you’d like to include the Welsh Refugee Council and give them our details below.

You can leave a share of your estate once family and friends are looked after, a fixed sum of money, or a specific item. Your solicitor can help you choose what’s right for you.

Questions, or already left us a gift?

If you’d like to talk about leaving a gift, we’re happy to help, in confidence and with no obligation.

If you’ve already remembered us in your will, thank you. You don’t have to tell us, but if you’re happy to, we’d love the chance to say thank you properly.
