Hospitality with Nando’s

This June as part of Refugee Week, our Education and Employment team partnered with Nando’s in Cardiff and Swansea to deliver the next “Your Career, Your Future” work programme designed to support clients into employment.

What does the programme involve?

As part of this, participants received tailored training and interview skills preparation before attending an employer hiring day. During the event, Nando’s showcased a variety of roles through interactive demonstrations, giving clients the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn more about working in the hospitality sector.

What do our participants say about the programme?

Clients then took part in interviews with the employer, with three receiving invitations to discovery sessions and potential job offers. Those who were not immediately offered a role have been placed onto the Nando’s talent pool and will be considered for future vacancies.

The programme provided a valuable opportunity for clients to build confidence, develop workplace skills, and make direct connections with a major employer, creating pathways into both current and future employment opportunities.
