  • Job Title: Volunteer Recruitment and Development Officer
  • Report to: Executive Director of Resources
  • Salary: Up to £26,000 + 5% pension
  • Duration: Fixed term contract to 31/03/2025
  • Hours: 35 hours per week normal office hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Location: Hybrid working: Working from home and the Cardiff Office (all-Wales post).

Purpose of the Post

As our Volunteer Recruitment & Development Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating volunteer activities within our organisation. Your expertise in digital tools and communication will enhance our volunteer engagement efforts. This position combines administrative tasks, community building, and technology to create a positive volunteer experience. The ideal candidate will:

  • Have energy to motivate and inspire volunteers and staff.
  • Have a sound knowledge of IT software and be interested in exploring new technology.
  • Be organized to pro-actively manage new and existing volunteer opportunities.
  • Have a drive for improvement.
